NorthBay Health Heart and Vascular is the only comprehensive location for advanced cardiovascular services in Solano County. Equipped with the latest technology and evidence-based care, our cardiologists specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and blood vessels. Our comprehensive cardiology services and specialty heart care includes the region’s first accredited Chest Pain (Heart Attack) Center, the only cardiothoracic surgery program in Solano County and our Heart Failure Clinic.Our expert teams include interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons and highly specialized cardiac nurses and technologists. We perform many cardiac procedures using non-surgical interventional techniques and minimally invasive surgery, which can mean less pain, smaller incisions and a faster, easier recovery for patients. At NorthBay Health, the Board Certified, Licensed Interventional Cardiologist will practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. NorthBay Health is ideally located between the San Francisco Bay Area Region, Napa Valley and Sacramento. - Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Dedicated procedure time, General and STEMI call required
- Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Balanced distribution of inpatient and outpatient care
- Call Ratio: General call and STEMI call responsibilities
- Daily Patient Census: Manage a consistent daily patient load
- Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources. Multiple catheterization labs available
- Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Atherectomy
- Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging
- IFR/FFR (Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio/Fractional Flow Reserve)
- Pulmonary Artery Pressure Monitoring Device Implantation
- Peripheral Angiograms: Includes lower extremity arterial and venous angiograms, renal, or carotid angiograms
- Emergency and Rescue Procedures: Emergency cardiac catheterizations for myocardial infarctions and/or cardiogenic shock, pericardiocentesis, insertion of mechanical heart pumps such as intra-aortic balloon pumps or other mechanical circulatory support devices
- Coronary Angiograms and/or Cardiac Catheterization: Left Heart and/or Right Heart Catheterizations
- Imaging and Diagnostics: Ability to read echocardiograms, nuclear medicine scans, and non-invasive vascular studies
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state
- Proven experience in interventional cardiology procedures
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Compensation and perks:
- Total Compensation Range: $700,000 - $818,000
