Job Description

Last Update: 12/12/24

Cardiopulmonary practice in Wyoming has an outstanding opportunity for an interventional cardiologist eager to engage in a full spectrum of interventional cardiology.

You’ll be joining a distinguished, well-established practice founded in 1976, currently comprised of three interventional cardiologists and three invasive cardiologists. Their practice enjoys state-wide recognition and has been growing steadily without any managed care involvement. They are equipped with cutting-edge, accredited nuclear medicine and echo-vascular ultrasound systems.

Their office is conveniently located just one block from the main hospital, which minimizes commute times. They also operate nine outreach clinics across two-thirds of the state since 1979. The primary hospital boasts two advanced cath labs with a structural heart program, a developing EP lab with equipment already in place, and a robust open-heart surgery program supported by board-certified cardiothoracic surgeons. They offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including relocation assistance, retirement plans, and CME reimbursement. Partnership opportunities are available after two years (or three years for J1 Visa candidates).

Their community of 66,000 residents is centrally located in the state and offers a range of outdoor activities such as water and snow skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking, and mountain biking. The arts are also well-represented with a local symphony and theater, and larger metropolitan areas are easily accessible. The community features both public and private schools, from elementary through Master’s programs, and benefits from no state income tax. Housing options are diverse and plentiful.

Job Responsibilities
