Call Details

• Additional Call Notes: Switchboard will notify the physician of a STEMI via phone and pager. The physician must call the switchboard to confirm receipt of the page.

Providers Typical Day

• Weekends: May get called in 0 - 3 times throughout a weekend
• Role: Hospitalists handle admissions. Interventional cardiologists see patients in consult only and are not the admitting physician.
• Responsibilities: Cover STEMIs, cardiac caths, interventions, and preferably able to perform urgent acute pulmonary embolism interventions.

Geographic Preference

• Requirement: Must be local enough to drive in
• Mileage (Personal Vehicle): Provided
