The medical center, situated in southern Alabama, currently has new openings and is seeking additional BC/BE Interventional Cardiologists to join their well-established and growing practice. This is a 420-bed Level II trauma center with the strongest Cardiovascular program in the region, ranking in the Top 10 percent nationally for patient safety in heart attack, interventional coronary, and vascular care. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Hospital Employee, Traditional. Assigned Call with 1:8 Call Ratio. daVinci is available for those desiring to use it. Highly competitive compensation package with productivity bonus Paid interviewing expenses $100,000 Signing bonus package. State-of-the-art Cath Lab with 3 reading rooms. Robust Cardiac rehab program with pulmonary function component. 56 total ICU beds with a 14-bed CVICU/progressive care unit . This community offers a low cost of living, excellent educational facilities, and traditional southern hospitality.. A dedicated lab for Cerebrovascular procedures. One of the largest not-for-profit tertiary referral centers in Alabama serving over 600,000 within a 75-mile radius. Paid malpractice and tail coverage. Robust IM Hospitalist program provides ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers, and inpatient consults. CME and licensure fee allowance. The region's only facility offering TAVR, EP Cardiology, and Watchman procedures. 24/7 in-house Anesthesia coverage. Less than 100 miles to the Emerald Coast beaches of Florida.
