Job Title: Non-invasive Cardiologist

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our prestigious cardiology practice in Pittsburgh, PA. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a talented physician to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including diagnostic testing, interpretation of imaging studies, and management of patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiography (ECG), echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and cardiac imaging studies.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and hypertension, in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
  3. Interpret cardiac imaging studies, including echocardiograms, cardiac MRI, and nuclear cardiology tests, to assess cardiac structure and function, identify abnormalities, and guide clinical decision-making.
  4. Provide patient education, counseling, and support regarding cardiovascular disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, medication management, and treatment options, fostering shared decision-making and active patient participation in care.
  5. Collaborate closely with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, electrophysiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care, including referrals for specialized interventions or procedures as needed.
  6. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and educational activities within the field of cardiology, contributing to advancements in cardiovascular care, evidence-based practice, and patient outcomes.
  7. Engage in teaching and mentorship activities, including supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, to support the development of future generations of healthcare professionals and promote academic excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Diseases and Non-Invasive Cardiology.
  • Active medical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing and interpretation, including echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac imaging studies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients, communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, and engage in shared decision-making.
