The Charleston Area Medical Center is actively recruiting a board-certified interventional cardiologist to provide inpatient coverage at two Beckley, WV hospitals.

Job Responsibilities

You will work closely with a collegial group at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV which includes CT/CV Surgery, EP Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart and other specialties. . This collaboration allows for transfer of patients requiring more complex care to colleagues at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Qualifications

Requirements:
Medical Degree (MD/DO)
Ability to obtain a West Virginia state medical license and DEA
Board certified in interventional cardiology
Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Charleston Area Medical Center Plateau Medical Center and Raleigh General Hospital
Passion for exceptional patient care

Working Hours

Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm
Call would be 1:4 weekends and weeknight call to be determined.

Emergency/urgent cardiac catheterization/PCI skills
Ability to read echo, nuclear stress and EKGs
