Interventional Cardiology opening in Dubuque, Iowa Tri-State border of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin Position Details:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Established team of 2 physicians and 1 Advanced Practitioners
  • Established practice serving the Dubuque community
  • Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
  • Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
  • 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities: Average of 18-20 patients per day Shared call amongst the providers. Currently 1:3 night call taken day-to-day; Physician sees own patients for call during business hours Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient; 2-4 interventions per day when in clinic Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Two nearby outreach locations are visited by Physician once per month Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications: MD or DO Board Certified/Board Eligible Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa Eligible to work in the United States Ability to work as a team member Comp/Benefits: Competitive compensation package; Salary position Attractive incentive package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
