A thriving Cardiology practice of 30+ years located in Southern New Mexico is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join their team. The head Cardiologist is retiring in mid 2025 and will help transition patients and cases as he phases out. In addition, the incoming Interventionalist will be working alongside 1 other Interventional Cardiologist and 4 NP's.
The Position:
• Practice alongside 2 Interventional Cardiologist's and 4 NP's
• Patient panel is over 45K patients
• Bread and Butter Interventional Cardiology- primarily coronary and peripheral procedures
• Schedule includes 3 lab days and 2 clinic days
• 4 NP's cover hospital rounding and call allowing you to focus solely on lab time and interventions
• Base Salary of $750K with upside into the $1M range; current Cardiologist's average over $1M per year
• Sign-on Bonus of $50K, Relocation, PTO, Full Benefits, Retirement, and CME
Southern New Mexico Metro:
• Southern New Mexico College Town has population of 110K people and gets over 300 days of sunshine per year with a mild desert climate
• Home of 1 of the 2 flagship Universities of New Mexico, this city offers a wide variety of culture; snow-skiing in Ruidoso is just 2 hours away
