Job Title: Board Eligible/Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist
Location: Southeast New Mexico

Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join an established healthcare system in Southeast New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for optimizing patient outcomes through high-quality clinical care.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of a 3-year fellowship in Cardiology.
  • One to two-year additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
  • New Mexico medical license (active or pending).
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented, patient-focused, and motivated to deliver exceptional care.

What You Can Expect:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, no weekends.
  • No on-call schedule, with 10 days of call coverage per month for local hospitals.
  • State-of-the-art outpatient clinic offering Laboratory, Nuclear Medicine, Echo, and Ultrasound capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and provide medical treatment for patients with cardiovascular and peripheral artery diseases on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
  • Perform and interpret interventional procedures to treat complex cardiovascular conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals within the system.
