Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Medical Director and ACHD Physician to join our team. The Medical Director will provide leadership and oversight to the ACHD program, while ACHD Physicians will deliver exceptional care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Our Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) program is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients with congenital heart disease. Our multidisciplinary team includes full-time ACHD congenital cardiac surgeons, a board-certified ACHD cardiologist, a full-time physician assistant (PA), a full-time social worker, a full-time ACHD nurse, and a full-time clinical psychologist. We are supported by a team specializing in advanced imaging, cardiac catheterization, cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac anesthesia, and intensive care.
Schedule: M-F Days
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Director:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the ACHD program.
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care and clinical practice.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement program initiatives.
- Oversee quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Mentor and support early career physicians and other team members.
ACHD Physician:
- Provide comprehensive care to ACHD patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in advanced imaging, cardiac catheterization, cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac anesthesia, and intensive care procedures as needed.
- Engage in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of ACHD care.
Qualifications:
Medical Director:
- ACHD Board Certified.
- Associate or Professor level of seniority.
- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
ACHD Physician:
- Board Eligible or Certified in ACHD (pediatric or adult cardiology track).
- Board Certification (or eligibility) by ABIM for ACHD.
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
