JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BC /BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join an established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program. Applicants should be advanced heart failure fellowship trained and ABIM certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.
In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends.
The six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower houses 4 electrophysiology labs, 6 catheterization labs, state of the art imaging and diagnostic equipment, 6 cardiovascular operating rooms, and 1 hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery.

Invasive procedures will include heart catheterization and CardioMEMS
29-county referral network that includes 1.5 million residents
