Job Summary:
The Medical City Institute for Advanced Cardiac Care is seeking a board-certified advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work in one of the largest healthcare systems in Texas, with cutting-edge facilities alongside world-class cardiology experts.
Qualified Candidates:
- Fellowship-trained and board certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology
- Valid Texas medical license or the ability to obtain
- Team player with excellent communication and outreach skills
- Procedural competence in right heart catheterization and endomyocardial biopsy
- Interest and experience in clinical or translational research preferred, but not required
- Interest and experience in medical education preferred, but not required
- Provide inpatient and outpatient services at Medical City Heart Hospital, Medical City Fort Worth, and Medical City Plano focusing on advanced heart failure management, cardiac transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support
- This role is ideal for a team-oriented physician with a passion for excellence in patient care, scientific research, and medical education.

- Medical City Heart Hospital has 4 cardiac catheterization labs, 2 dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms, 2 hybrid operating rooms, and a 15-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with 24/7 intensivist coverage.
- World class expertise in adult cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, structural heart disease, cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support including durable LVAD, IABP, full suite of Impella devices, and VA- and VV-ECMO
- Dedicated Cardiogenic Shock team with mobile ECMO capacity by ground or air
- Active cardiovascular clinical trials and registries as well as investigator-initiated studies
- Cardiology fellowship training site with GME leadership opportunities
