  • Other Details: The facility is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. An Electrophysiologist is needed ASAP to start in March. The client prefers a locum-to-perm arrangement but is open to considering locum candidates as well.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide on-site clinical coverage, diagnosing and managing patients with cardiac rhythm disorders.
- Perform electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, pacemaker insertions, and defibrillator placements.
- Participate in beeper call coverage as needed, responding to urgent cardiac cases.
- Collaborate with hospital staff, including cardiologists, nurses, and technicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies and medical regulations.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and long-term cardiac health management.

Qualifications

-License: An active Kentucky state license or IMLC membership is required.
-Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible

Skills

- Expertise in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiological disorders.
- Proficiency in performing procedures such as catheter ablation, pacemaker and ICD implantation, and other cardiac electrophysiology interventions.
- Strong knowledge of advanced cardiac imaging and interpretation of ECGs, Holter monitors, and electrophysiology studies.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiology team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Experience with on-site patient management and telehealth consultations if required.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills, ensuring quality patient care.
