All Star is working with a great client in South Carolina needing locum EP coverage:
- Willing to consider licensing a provider, must have active FCVS
- One week per month, typically for vacation coverage
- 1st case starts between 7:30/8 am and locum provider will probably be done for the day around 5pm (so a typical work day)
- Call is not involved. Locum EP will be rounding on patients, doing procedures in the lab, etc.
- Clinic is also not required at this time; however, we would like someone who is willing to do clinic, as this may be asked later down the road.
- Someone with at least 3 years of experience is REQUIRED. The reason for this is because the locum EP will be working independently, and there is no surgical backup onsite. All locum candidates need to be comfortable with this.
- Midlevel support is available (1 NP in the office and 1 NP in the hospital)
- Average number of inpatients rounded on per day: 7-8 max
- Surgical volume per day: 3-7 cases a day average
- Consult volume: only a handful per day. We have a general cardiologist that runs the hospital service, and they will consult EP as needed.
- Procedures required: Ablations, device implants, bread and butter EP, etc.
- NO watchman cases as we don’t have surgical back up.
- We have 2 labs, so the locum will have a flip room
- Patients range from 40-80 years old – Strictly adults only
