CAVHS and Arkansas
The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System "CAVHS" in Little Rock, AR is seeking a full-time Cardiac EP Physician. Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas, also known as The Natural State. It is a beautiful and wonderful place to live. Arkansans' spend their weekends with family and friends or out in solitude exploring the historic Arkansas State Capitol, the Arkansas Art Centers and museums, enjoying the outdoors and the nearby beautiful Ozark Mountains, or with fine dining and entertainment. With a National Airport reachable in a 15-minute drive, Little Rock is also a great place to live and quickly explore the nation.
Job Responsibilities
* 1-2 days per week in clinic
* 3-4 days per week in the EP lab
* 1/6 Cardiology inpatient consult rounds
* 1/6 Night and Weekend Call (with Hospitalist, Residents, and Fellow support).
* No pressure or competing against your partners for production wRVU's and case quantities.
Teaching and Mentoring:
* Internal Medicine Residents
* Cardiology Fellows
* EP Fellows
* Participating in Grand Rounds and other ACGME activities.
Qualifications
* You must have an active state license in any state of the USA.
* You must never have had any of your state licenses suspended or revoked, for any reason.
* You must not have been discharged by a previous employer for quality of care issues.
* If you completed a foreign medical education, you must provide a copy of your ECFMG certificate.
* If you completed a non-ACGME, or a foreign residency, you must have at least 5 years practice or fellowship experience in the field you are applying.
* You must provide 3 references, 2 of which are or were supervisory.
