Description:

Well established Cardiology group in Wyoming is seeking a BC/BE electrophysiologist to join our established cardiovascular group (noninvasive, interventional, peripheral, structural heart and cardiac surgery) with the opportunity of developing a unique state-of-the-art EP program fully supported by two major medical centers. This would be the only EP program in central Wyoming, having a very large catchment area. A new EP lab is in construction and dedicated specialty equipment is already available. There are established EP pathways with patients treated out-of-state currently (able to support a full EP salary) which now would be retained in our area. There is continuous capability of interaction with well-established EP physicians.

All this in a community with 300 days sunshine, 4 seasons and great outdoors activities opportunities.

Build a NEW Program and Become the only EP in the Region – State of Wyoming

  • Salary: $650,000 Guaranteed Salary for 2 years w/Productivity Bonus + Buy in options
  • Join a group of 6 experienced Cardiologists (4 Interventional and 3 General)
  • Practice Scope: Access to EP Procedures as well as Pacemaker and High Voltage Device Implant, lead removal, ablation procedures
  • Proven volume to support new EP Program – The community and the State need an EP Program
    • Current EP cases are going across state lines.
  • 2019 Data for group – 76 Pacemaker and 55 ICD’s, ablation outmigration ~110 annually
  • Ancillary Income from Technical Component on Imaging
    • 2019 Gross Charges of $10M for Ancillary Income
  • Employed for 2 years with Partnership (Shareholder) Track – (J1 shareholder status at 3 years)

    • LCC Buy-In: Real Estate, Building (Avg annual return $50K/yr)

  • 191-bed, non-profit hospital. This hospital has everything except transplants and burns.
  • Main hospital affiliation: Banner Hospital for inpatients, outpatients, procedures. Remote hospital locations that require privileges to see patients in their outpatient clinic(s).
  • Typical Work schedule - 8 to 5 M-F. Outreach location hours vary based on clinic location.
  • Call schedule - 1:3
  • Clinical setting: Outpatient & Inpatient
  • Board Certified preferred. Board eligible will be accepted with agreement they will obtain board certification.

Competitive BC/BE electrophysiologist is expected to perform:

  • Electrophysiology consultation with specialty follow-up in outpatient and inpatient settings
    (single hospital).
  • Implanting pacemakers, ICD, CRT.
  • Lead extraction.
  • Basic and complex atrial ablation procedures.
  • Opportunity of remote arrhythmia and device clinics.
