Aspirus Health is seeking a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join our Health Care System!
Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
FTE: 1.0 - Full-time
Position Highlights:
- Advanced cardiac program with more than:
- 250 STEMI/year
- 200 TAVR/year
- 450 open-heart surgeries/year
- 1000 EP cases/year
- Over 3,000 patients in our independent device clinic
- Service area of more than 770,000 lives and over 70,000 cardiology outpatient visits per year
- Three EP physician partners
- Support from four EP trained APPs
- General cardiology call is one in 11 weekday nights with hospitalist support for afterhours admissions and transfers
- No general call on weekends.
- Pacemaker call is one in five weekends, only until 5:00 pm
- One of seven sites in the country for FDA DEEP trial using a combined EP and surgical approach to persistent and long standing persistent atrial fibrillation
- Two EP mapping labs with RF, cryo ablations as well as Impella support
- Collaborative lead extraction program
- No competing groups or providers at any of the Health System hospitals
- Option to participate in cutting-edge clinical research programs
- Teaching opportunities through MCW and Aspirus Health Family Medicine Residency
