ABOUT THE POSITION:
Two North Carolina ANES Locums
Position Option 1:
Coverage Needed):
7:00am-3:30pm
Both Inpatient & Outpatient
Monday – Friday
No Call
Procedures: OB/GYN, Orthopedic (hip & knee), Ophthalmology, general surgery, c-sections, plastics, ENT and Endoscopy
Required to see patients of all ages
Must be able to provide anesthesia w/team & independently
Required to see patients of all ages
BLS, ACLS, PALS/APLS Required
Hospital Info:
3 Operating Rooms
C-section suite in Labor & Delivery
On-site Anesthesiologist and Radiologist
24-hour laboratory availability
No ICU- Critical Care Hospital
Air and Ground Support to immediately transfer patients
EMR = EPIC
Average # of surgical cases/mo: 250
Position Option 2:
ANES coverage needed:
ongoing during perm recruitment (Monday – Friday/7:00am – 3:00pm)
Both Inpatient & Outpatient
Call Required (1 night per week & 1 weekend per month)
Not required to remain on site for call
Must be able to provide anesthesia within 20 minutes of a call
MDA supervision
Must be able to work autonomously
Procedures: MAC, General, Regional and Epidurals required
BLS & ACLS Required

This need is to provide 30 day coverage for a FMLA
Facility uses paper charting & Meditech EMR
Facility will not reimburse for flights but they will reimburse for mileage and hotel
Providers need to be AANA and have an MI license at he time of submission
REQUIREMENTS
AANA Board Certified - Required
Labor Epidurals - Required
MI license at time of submission - Required
Option 2
General, MAC, Spinal Anesthesia
Adult & Peds
Vent Management
Average 4 cases per day
Facility will credential as quickly as possible and will shoot for an early July start
Please note: Sparrow only pays 1/2 hourly rate for orientation and training hours
