The Anesthesiology Locum Tenens opportunity in Michigan:

-Start date: July 9, 2018

-Duration: July 9 – July 22, 2018

-Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7a-3:30p

-NO CALL

-Reason for Need: Vacation Coverage

-Locums will be the only ANES providing coverage during this time

-Average of 300 surgical cases per month

-40% General, 20% OB, 40% Complex Orthopedic

-45 bed acute-care facility

-5 Operating Rooms

-Annual ED volume: 15,500

-OR Staff: 2 General Surgeons, 3 OBGYNs, 2 Orthos, 2 ENTs, 1 Urologist, 2 Opthal, 1 Dentist

-Locums physician is responsible for preparing ANES cart

-EMR: Meditech and paper charting

**Cases: General, Adult, Pediatric, Spinal, Epidural, Regional, OB, Complex Ortho

-Vent Management, Eval. And management of acute volume/BP issues

**Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency, BLS, ACLS, PALS, MI license**
