Locum - Anesthesiology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Anesthesiologist

Join our team at a leading level 1 trauma center located in York, PA. Our facility is equipped with 36 sites of service daily, including 15 general operating rooms. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care and are looking for skilled Anesthesiologists to be a part of our dynamic inpatient practice. Flexible scheduling options include preferred 10-hour shifts, with consideration for 8-hour shifts for the right candidate. Experience in cardiac anesthesia is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for a range of surgical procedures.
• Supervise CRNAs with a typical ratio of 1:3 or 1:4.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team, including SRNAs and anesthesia techs.
• Participate in the efficient operation of our anesthesia department.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient documentation and management.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO).
• Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
• Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training is required.
• Previous experience in a similar practice setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania (temporary privileges available).
• Must be board eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
