Anesthesiology opening in Middletown, NY New York City 73m Seeking General Call taking or Cardiac Anesthesiologist. * Full-time * Case Mix: Endo, general, ortho, labor and delivery, radiology, URO, vascular, GYN, ENT, neuro, and plastics * Call Required * Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department * Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures * Pre-anesthesia assessment * Obtains and/or verifies patient consent * Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient * Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia * Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition * Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation & Benefits * Salary: * General Call Taking Anesthesiologist: $525K with 8 weeks of PTO * Cardiac Anesthesiologist: $525k base plus $75k specialty stipend * Sign-on Package: up to $100K * Loan repayment or training assistance program funding options available * Generous paid time off * Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts * 401(k) * Profit sharing * Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage * Leadership and professional development opportunities Requirements * M.D./D.O.
