Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients. Responsibilities include assisting with treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients.
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training to patients.
Monitor patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and their families on exercises and best practices for rehabilitation.
Document patient treatments and progress accurately in medical records.
Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies.
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Previous experience in a rehabilitation, outpatient, or hospital setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
