- Board requirement (Example EM, FM, IM): ABA
LOCUM COVERAGE ASSESSMENT
- Coverage Type: 5 8 hours or 4 10 hours
- Is the Locum Coverage needed short-term (3-6 months) or long-term (6+ months)? 90 days with option to extend
- Is the Locum Coverage needed for a specific shift type: Call Coverage
- Hours: 7-3, 7-5 and 7-7
- Start Date: June 1, 2025
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Case Volume: Hospital 6,750 || ED 2,900
- Bed Count: Hospital 184 (Operating Rooms: 8 total, including 2 Endo and 1 Cysto) || ED
- (Operating Rooms: 4 total including 2 Endo)
- Is OB done in the general OR? OB is a separate area upstairs
- MD to CRNA ratio: 1:4
- How many MDs present during the day?: 2 at main site, and 1 at smaller site
- Night Callback time: 30 mins
- For the night call, are you responsible for OB cases, also are CRNA available at night? Typically
- the CRNA does the OB cases for which the MD would have to be present to sign off. However, if the CRNA is tied up in an emergent OR case we would presume that the doc would just take the OB case
- OTHER
- Hospital Case Include: No heads or hearts, Healthy Peds, OB, Thoracic, Ortho, ENT, Podiatry, Dental, Plastics
- ED Cases Include: Ortho, Spine, GYN, Endo
