Anesthesiologist (MD)

A healthcare network in Vermont is currently seeking a licensed Anesthesiologist for a promising opportunity with their growing team at the facility in Burlington.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating patients' medical history, current health conditions, and potential risks before administering anesthesia
• Developing an individualized anesthesia plan based on the patient's needs and the type of procedure
• Delivering general, regional, or local anesthesia safely to ensure patient comfort and pain management
• Continuously tracking heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and other vital signs during surgery
• Providing pain relief through medications or techniques such as epidurals, nerve blocks, or IV medications
• Addressing complications such as allergic reactions, anesthesia side effects, or sudden changes in a patient's condition
• Overseeing patients' recovery from anesthesia, ensuring they regain consciousness safely, and managing postoperative pain
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Vermont
• Board Eligible / Certified in Anesthesiology
