Neuro-Anesthesiologist opportunity Located in Sayre, PA - 18m to Elmira, NY Full Time and Permanent Position Accepts H1B Visa We are seeking a Fellowship Trained and Board Certified or Board Eligible Neuro-Anesthesiologist to support our Anesthesia Residency Program. Highlights of the Position Anesthesiology Residency Program with 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms. Teaching opportunities with regular rotations of residents and medical students. Anesthesia Department manages OR schedules, ensuring a smooth and efficient workday. 0.1 FTE Administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities A Neuro-Anesthesiologist specializes in administering anesthesia for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures. Key responsibilities include: Preoperative Evaluation: Assessing patient medical history and health status to determine the anesthesia plan. Anesthesia Administration: Administering tailored anesthesia types, including general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care. Monitoring During Surgery: Continuously assessing vital signs and neurological function to ensure patient safety and adjust anesthesia as needed. Managing Intraoperative Complications: Recognizing and managing complications like changes in intracranial pressure or adverse reactions to anesthesia. Postoperative Care: Overseeing recovery from anesthesia, providing pain management and supportive care. Collaboration: Working closely with neurosurgeons, neurologists, and other surgical team members to optimize patient outcomes. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary: $525K to $575K total compensation. Bonuses: $25K starting bonus and $25K retention bonus for the next three years; $15K quality/citizenship bonus available yearly.
