We are seeking a Locums Anesthesia Physician to provide consistent coverage for extended periods in Burlington, VT. This opportunity is ideal for candidates available for 2-4 weeks per month, rather than short-term or intermittent assignments. The role focuses on general anesthesia without involvement in cardiac or obstetric cases.

This position is Monday through Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM, with no call obligations. The provider will work exclusively in the Operating Room (OR) with no clinic duties. Required procedures include general anesthesia, intubation, IV placement, spinal, arterial line placement, and central line placement. Epidural procedures for post-operative pain are rarely performed. Additionally, non-OR assignments may include interventional radiology, electrophysiology (excluding SVTs), and general and interventional endoscopy.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Anesthesiology
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Vermont Licensed
