Facility in Colorado Springs, CO seeking Anesthesia locums coverage

Rates: $410/hr

Position Details

• Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday.

  • No weekends, no call.

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed.

• Coverage:

  • Full-time availability is preferred.

  • Flexibility for weekend coverage is a plus but not required.

  • Supervising 3–4 CRNAs 40% of the time (no more than 4 at a time).

• Operating Room Information:

  • 13 ORs and 2 endoscopy suites at the Central location.

  • Types of Cases: Orthopedics, OB, regionals, and neuro (no cardiac).

  • Patient Demographics: 80% Adult, 20% Trauma.

  • EMR System: Epic.

• Team Size:

  • 55 anesthesiologists and 30 CRNAs.

Requirements

• Board Certification:

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency).

• Licensure:

  • Active Colorado license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).

• Certifications:

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS required.

• Other:

  • Clean background (highly preferred).

  • Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed).

Credentialing and Timeline

• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days.

• Reason for Need: Expanded areas of coverage due to growth.
