Job Description

Last Update: 1/15/25
Overview

As part of the Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG) clinical team, an Ob Hospitalist Diplomat embraces a threefold focus on delivering a quality Ob Hospitalist program: (1) Delivery of quality care that is evidence-based and consistent with the core values of OBHG, (2) A spirit of service to others, and (3) financial stewardship. This position will be part of a team of clinicians that will work at a variety of clinical programs across the OBHG network. These assignments will be made by the administrative diplomat team and will be based upon clinical coverage needs at these programs. Coverage may be driven by core team absences due to medical conditions, reduction in core team staffing due to turnover as well as support for new programs that are just starting. While working at these assigned sites, the Ob Hospitalist Diplomat will work to ensure that the program is meeting OBHG’s and the hospital’s operational goals. The Ob Hospitalist Diplomat is expected to bring their experience from working within OBHG to elevate the quality of care delivered at their sites as well as working to improve the operational effectiveness of these programs.
