Job Description
SSM Health and SLUCare Physician Group is seeking a full-time Optometrist to practice in St. Louis, MO. Under administrative direction, the optometrist will oversee patient diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of vision problems and diseases.

- Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs examinations for both the internal and external structures of the eye and subjective and objective tests to
- Evaluate vision; analyzes the test findings; diagnoses and determines appropriate treatments; communicates result to
- and educates patients.
- Examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases and disorders of the visual system, the eye and associated
- Structures, as well as diagnoses related systemic conditions.
- Prescribes glasses and contact lenses; prescribes rehabilitation of the impaired eyes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
A degree in medicine from an accredited school of optometry; preferably supplemented with two (2) years of related experience. State license is required.
