Job Description
Are you an anesthesiologist who enjoys coastal life? Come work at the Hampton Veteran Affairs (VA) Medical Center while caring for our nation's veterans. Our physician must be Board Certified/ACLS/BLS required (or will be - for residents) and provide clinical support in an inpatient/outpatient (mostly ambulatory outpatient) setting. Residents should be within one year of graduation. On average, there will 10-12 procedures per day.

Job Responsibilities
• Follows the administrative components of patient care management as noted in facility by-laws and policies.
• Supervises CRNAs: a. Per VHA Directive 1123, the team leader should be the professional with the most advanced training. The team leader will provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to ensure optimal perioperative patient care.
