Locums – Brookville, Pennsylvania, Anesthesiology Float Pool Opening

- Start Date: 02/03/2025
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks, with option to extend
- Schedule: M-F starting at 6:30AM and working 8-10 hours per day, one week a month
- Must be able to take call! No Exceptions
- Physician will float between locations: DuBois, Brookville, Elk, Clearfield. Brookville, Elk, and Clearfield are smaller hospitals, bread and butter cases, very limited call. Schedule released for the whole month listing the night call/late days, no weekend call
- Support staff: CRNA at each location
- Patients per day: this will vary by facility but at DuBois (their busy, trauma hosp) avg cases per day is 40 which includes endoscopy, and they have 4 ANES per day and 15-18 CRNAs they will share supervisory. The smaller facilities are much lower volume
- Patient population/age: adult and geriatric
- EMR: Cerner
- Hospital bed size: DuBois - 272, Clearfield - 50, Brookville - 35, Elk – 163
- Skills required: Bread and Butter General Anesthesia; ENT, GYN, OB (only at DuBois), plastics, endo, urology, ortho, vascular, neuro and thoracic. DuBois does trauma but the other hospitals do not. No head, no hearts, no OB everywhere except DuBois. DuBois is a trauma center and will need to do heads, hearts, OB
- Practice Setting: Hospital
- Board Certified Required
- Active PA State license - Required (Will consider IMLC if provider is an Outstanding candidate)
- DEA: Yes
- CSR: No
- BLS and ACLS Required
- Minimum experience required: 2 Years
- Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks for limited malpractice/background issues and not a lot of verifications. Otherwise, it can take 60-90 days for full privs.
