Shift: Day shift 0700-1600, night shift home call 1600-0700, weekend 24-hour home call

Position Details:

• Patient Population: Ages 1 year and older
• Setting: Community hospital with 4 ORs, 2 endoscopy sites, and OB
• Responsibilities: Supervision of CRNAs, solo on-call shifts, managing acute volume/BP issues
• Required Procedures:
  • General surgical cases (adult and pediatric)
  • Minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, plexus anesthesia
  • Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
  • Obstetrical cases
  • Acute pain management procedures
  • Insertion of central and arterial lines
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff: Care team model with 4 FTE anesthesiologists
• Days Per Month: Varies
• On-Call/Weekends: Yes (night float and weekend home call)

Submission Requirements:

• Required: Board Certified (ABA)
• Required: ME State License (will accept candidates needing to obtain a state license)
• Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
