Job Description
ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital, located in Tarboro, North Carolina, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join their surgical services team. The successful candidate will work as an independent contractor.
Tarboro is conveniently located 30 miles northwest of Greenville, NC (population of nearly 100,000) and 75 miles east of Raleigh.
Job Highlights include:
· Hospital privileges at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital
· 1099 position
· Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
· Shared Call
· Supervision of experienced CRNA’s
· Work schedule includes 1 to 2 weeks per month, including nights/weekends
· Edgecombe Hospital Surgical Services program includes General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, and OB/GYN cases
· Anticipated volume: 180 surgical cases per month
· Procedures will include general anesthesia, blocks, and labor epidurals
· Malpractice coverage provided including tail coverage
· Short commute from the Greenville, NC and the Raleigh, NC areas
