Full-Time Anesthesiologist Locums Job in Southern New York

A facility in southern New York is seeking full-time Anesthesia coverage starting in January. This is a bread and butter assignment consisting of scheduled hours and call.

Dates of Coverage: January 2025 and ongoing

Details of Assignment
» New York medical license required
» Must be Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist
» Schedule: 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday (possibly longer)
» The position will include weekday call every 3rd or 4th night
» Weekend call will be 1 in 4.
» MD call only, no CRNAs on call
» MDA will perform own cases and direct two CRNAs
» Average is 15 cases a day total, in two main rooms and one GI room. GI is about half the cases.
» Case Mix: General Surgery, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, and Gastroenterology
» OB about one epidural per day, and about five C-sections a week
