Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting an Anesthesiologist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the New Mexico VA Health Care System located at 1501 San Pedro Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Schedule is typically Monday-Thursday, 0630-1500 and Friday 0730-1630. May require night shift on occasion.

Responsibilities
- Full range of perioperative care. This includes extensive participation in preoperative optimization of surgical patients; intraoperative clinical pathways including ERAS; postoperative management including participation in care in the surgical intensive care unit; and acute and chronic pain management services.
- Applicant must be capable of performing anesthesia for cardiothoracic surgeries such as CABGs, aortic valve replacements, and lobectomies. If applicant does not currently perform anesthesia for these types of cases, the applicant will be mentored to gain proficiency in the aforementioned cases. After a period of mentorship, the applicant will be expected to be a part of the cardiac anesthesia call team.
- Provide anesthesia for a variety of sub-specialties including cardiothoracic, vascular, urology, gynecology, ENT, ophthalmology, general surgery, colorectal surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, behavioral health, gastroenterology, cardiology, pain, interventional radiology, pulmonary, etc.
- CRNA/resident supervision with some opportunity to personally perform cases
- Provide excellent, safe anesthetic care to our nation's veterans
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- Maintain an active AHA BLS and ACLS
- NPI report printout
- Active DEA license
- Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
