Details:
Seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist to provide locums coverage in Eastern North Carolina.
Inpatient (10%) and outpatient (90%) clinical responsibilities
Inpatient census: 34 patients per day
Average # of admissions per day 7-10 during the day/ 4 during the night
24hr call only on the weekend; shared with the CRNA.
BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association) (AHA)
# of surgical cases per month: approximately 175
Bread and butter surgical cases: General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, OB-Gyn, Optometry, and Pediatric Dental, Endoscopy (pediatrics > age 2)
No robotic or vascular surgery
No ICU/Critical Care Duties
LT do not respond to codes
LT will not be expected to serve as backup in ER
Must be able to provide anesthesia independently
Must be comfortable providing Pediatric Anesthesia on healthy children

Credentials: Board Certified, North Carolina License
