Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC), a service of Dignity Health, is seeking a Trauma/Acute Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA. Join our experienced surgical team to help the busiest community in Santa Barbara County. Marian Regional Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center, providing care to over 1500 trauma patients annually alongside the emergency department which sees around 65,000 patients annually. The city's population is steadily increasing every year. Our Level II Trauma Center features 24-hour emergency medicine physician coverage and access to trauma surgeons.

Qualifications
Expeience:
Knowledge of phsician Assistant or nurse practitioner principles and techniques. Knowledge of methods ensuring safe working environment for patient family and staff including using appropriate personal protection equipment. Demonstrated ability in the provision of care within field boundaries. Skill in applying and modifying the principles methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide ongoing patient care. Skill in taking medical histories to assess medical condition and interpret findings. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of patient information. Ability to assess a situation consider alternatives and choose an appropriate course of action. Graduate of an accredited schools of nursing.
Education:
Master's Degree Graduate from an accredited PA program required
Bachelor’s Degree required

Current California PA License required
Current DEA license required or eligible to obtain
Pay Range
$56.83 - $82.40/hour
