Position Type: Locum Tenens, Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our team on a locum tenens basis. This position is based at a Level II trauma center, supporting a dynamic Anesthesiology department with a diverse caseload.

Position Highlights:

• Shifts: Starting at 6:30 AM, with flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shift options.
• Call Option: Optional 24-hour in-house call available throughout the week; this is supervisory with a backup call MD available.
• Caseload: Typical cases include General Anesthesia, OB, Ortho, Cardiac (preferred but not required), and Neuro. Mostly directing CRNAs, though some hands-on work may be required.
• Schedule: 20 shifts per month, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year; cardiac experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Licensure: Pennsylvania license not required to apply (assistance available)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and DEA
• Additional Requirements: NPDB self-query required at presentation
