Hours: Monday - Friday, cases run from 7:00am - 3:30pm, Night call available 3:30pm - 7:00am, Weekend 24-hour call available 7am - 7pm

Details:

• Team of two board-certified anesthesiologists and 5 CRNAs currently (needs 1 more FTE provider)
• Anesthesiologists provide medical direction; surgeons provide supervision when CRNAs are first call
• Must be within a 30-minute response time while on call and most take call from home
• Hospital licensed for 108 beds with five OR suites and a separate C-section suite, two Endoscopy suites
• EMR - Meditech; OR charting is paper
• 3200 OR cases per year.
  • 26% inpatient cases; 74% outpatient cases
  • General surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, orthopedics, urology and endoscopy
  • Healthy peds ENT - ear tubes, tonsils, frenulectomies
  • "Bread and butter" anesthesia
  • Most cases finished by 3 pm
  • Comfortability with Epidurals needed
  • Regionals a PLUS but not required
  • No Heads or Hearts
• 480 deliveries per year.
  • 34% C/S rate; 22% primary C/S
  • 62% of patients choose to have epidurals
• Expertise with ultrasound-guided techniques preferred

Credentials: Active Missouri license.
