Locum Anesthesiologist *124958: Eastern, Virginia
Specialty: Anesthesiologist
Practice Setting: Hospital
Dates/Coverage Needed: January 2025- ongoing 10 and 12 hour shifts. Monday - Friday - 10- and 12-hour shifts. They are looking for flexibility here, as the locums providers and CRNAs are the last to be assigned to the schedule. Flexibility is REQUIRED for consideration, so someone saying they'll only do all 10s or all 12s will be automatic reject from the client.
Call: In House Call preferred
Support Staff/Supervision: Supervision of CRNA's required
Case Mix - Adult- Full range of case types including but not limited to: ENT, Neuro, Blocks, Lines, General, and likely more. 300 beds, 16 OR's
Care Team Model: Typically staffed for a 1:4 care team model, and physicians do their own cases about 40% of the time.
Active VA License: Current State Medical License or ability to get licensure
Requirements:
A Degree from an Accredited Residency Program
Must be Board Certified and participating in MOC
DEA/CSR Required
Providers must be able to work Call Shifts
Providers will be cross-credentialed at all three sites
