Join an Academic Medical Center as a Cardiac Anesthesiologist from January 1 to December 21, 2025, with potential for extension.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7 am – 5 pm
• One late day per week for cardiac call
• Cardiac call from home, 1:6 rotation
• No clinic duties, only OR assignments

Practice Setting:

• Academic Medical Center in VT
• Level 1 trauma center
• Mix of solo cases and supervision of anesthesia residents

Procedures and Cases:

• General anesthesia, intubation, IV, spinal, epidural (post-op pain)
• Arterial line, central line, pulmonary artery catheter, diagnostic TEE
• Cardiac cases: on/off pump CABG, valve repair/replacement, cath lab, vascular

Requirements:

• TEE certified or testamur status
• Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia preferred; experience considered
• BC/BE, BLS, ACLS certified

Support and Collaboration:

• Anesthesia techs and Patient Support Assistants available
• Supervision of CRNA and AA mid-levels in cath lab and vascular rooms
