Jefferson Health – Northeast serves the greater Philadelphia area with comprehensive medical and surgical services, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, urology, gastroenterology, and more. As a Level II Trauma Center, we are proud to offer cutting-edge procedures across a variety of specialties. Our facilities include the Torresdale, Bucks, and Frankford campuses, all dedicated to providing high-quality care to our community. We are seeking to add a General Anesthesiologist to our growing team. New graduates are welcomed and supported.
THE POSITION:
- Join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs across multiple campuses.
- Provide anesthesia for cases including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, plastic surgery, and urology in both hospital and ambulatory settings.
- Support approximately 5,000 cases annually across hospital ORs, ambulatory surgery centers (ASC), and endoscopy centers.
- No trauma, transplants and very minimal pediatrics and neurosurgery.
- Weekday shifts typically from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; overtime hours available after 4 p.m.
- Weekday call begins at 7 p.m., with post-call day off or paid overtime if called in early.
- In-house call is 1:8, and the post-call day is always off.
- Salary is based on a 40-hour workweek, with opportunities for additional pay for extra hours.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- MD or DO from an accredited program – Required
- Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency – Required
- Appropriate licenses and certifications – Required
