Job Description:
- Duration: 6 months, possibly longer
- Does the physician need Board Certification: BE or BC
- Average Number of CV cases per day: 10-15
- Average Number of general cases per month: 3500-4000
- Case Mix: Busy OB, trauma, designated stroke center, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho
- CV Shifts Shifts: 8-10 hour shifts. No call, no weekends.
- General Anesthesia Shifts: 8s, 10s, 12s.
- Optional in-house calls, nights, and weekends.
- Describe the make-up of support staff: 1 MD:3 CRNA or 1 MD:4 CRNA
- Care Team Model: Yes, mainly supervisory but MDs can work their own cases if preferred.
- Practice EMR: Cerner, AIMS
- Will MSO Grant Temps: Yes
Requirements:
- Current NC License
- Current BCLS and ACLS Certification
- Active NC DEA
- Current Need: 3 general anesthesia MDs; 1 to start in October, 1 to start in November-December, and 1 more to start in January.
- 1 FT CV anesthesiologist. At least 2 years of experience required **must be TEE certified.
