People First in Fort Worth, TX

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of 20 physicians and 57 CRNAs at John Peter Smith Hospital.
  • Work alongside four physicians who are dedicated OB fellowship-trained anesthesiologists.
  • We work closely with our hospital’s CRNA colleagues to provide the best anesthesia care possible for the Fort Worth community.
  • 13 busy ORs, IR cases with critical patients in the EP lab, and GI and OB.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/board-eligible in anesthesia.
  • OB Anesthesia Fellowship or extensive high-risk OB experience.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • (7) 24-hour shifts in the OB unit (or equivalent 12-hour shifts) in 4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dedicated to obstetric anesthesia work—no non-OB coverage during OB shifts.
  • Comfortable in level I trauma center with high-risk OB.
  • Maternal levels of care Level IV – with a sizeable high-risk population, necessitating that we provide 24-hour coverage with OB-trained anesthesiologists
  • Use EPIC, with access to our internal informatics platform.
