We are hiring a locum and locum to perm Anesthesiologist for an ongoing assignment in South Maine.

• Start: 01/2025 start date
• Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Day shift 0700-1600, night shift home call 1600-0700, weekend 24 hour home call
• Call Schedule: night float one week at a time if interested
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 10-12
• Average Number of Pain Management Cases: 0
• Locum Tenen Physician Required to Supervise CRNAs: Yes, care team model. Solo on call.
• Locum Tenens Physician be Responsible for Preparing the Anesthesia Cart: No
• Patient Age Demographic: 1 years and older
• Procedures needed:
  • General Surgical Cases ADULT
  • General Surgical Cases PEDIATRIC
  • Minor Nerve Blocks
  • IV Regional anesthesia
  • Plexus anesthesi
  • Spinal Anesthesia
  • Epidural Anesthesia
  • Regional Anesthesia
  • Obstetrical Cases
  • Pain Management Procedures: Acute
  • Insertion of Central Line, Arterial line
  • Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume / BP Issues: Yes

Job requirements:

• Board Certification
• ME state license (or willing to obtain)
  
• DEA
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
  

• Hourly rates: $390/hr W2 and $450/hr 1099 with travel and accommodation reimbursements
• License reimbursement
