Locum Anesthesiology need in Pennsylvania

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Unknown
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9-hour shifts starting at 6:30 AM
• Call Shifts: In-house call hours on weekdays from 7 PM to 7:30 AM; weekends from 7 AM to 7 AM (24 hours), which can be split into 12-hour shifts
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 20

Clinical Details:

• Clinical Details: General Anesthesiology, Cardiac, OB, and Peds cases
• Call: In-house call with backup call MD; average one delivery and three hours of cases after 7 PM
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: Mostly directing CRNAs, but hands-on work may be required

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• DEA Required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year, with recent experience in cardiac cases including Bypass, TEE, and open heart surgeries
• Must be comfortable with all cases including Cardiac, OB, Peds, and General Cases
• Willingness to take call shifts
• State Licensure: Pennsylvania license preferred, but candidates needing to obtain a license are accepted
• IMLC accepted
• NPDB self-query required at presentation
• TEE certification recommended but not required
