I am the Chief Medical Officer for Sound’s new anesthesia program at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. I’m pleased to be part of the Sound Anesthesia family. - We are a close-knit group of 10 physicians and 27 dedicated CRNAs, with two dedicated to CV.

Practice
- The Research Medical Center is a thriving community hospital where we manage level I trauma patients, OB/GYN, pediatrics, neuro, orthopedic, and general.
- CV cases will be run by dedicated CV fellowship-trained physicians.
- Our daily work culture reflects a sense of camaraderie, much like collaborating with friends in a professional and collegiate environment.
- The CV physician position offers a unique working schedule between two partners, allowing for a week-on, week-off model or two weeks on, two weeks off.
- The CV physician will cover day shifts and call during the week. Both fellowship-trained partners will self-cover under this model, which can be managed together.
- Compensation is guaranteed at an annual rate of $700,000. We can also offer 1099 compensation packages if necessary.
- Strong commencement bonus offered.
- We offer a generous 26 weeks of scheduled time off.
- NO NON-COMPETE CLAUSE IN OUR AGREEMENT
- Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability coverage, a 401k plan with matching contributions, paid medical malpractice insurance, tail coverage, and an annual CME allowance.
- We maintain a high retention rate because we work collaboratively within our team and ensure coverage for time off.
