I am the Chief Medical Officer for Sound’s new anesthesia program at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. We’ve created a practice we’re proud of. Practice
  • The Research Medical Center is a thriving community hospital, where we manage level I trauma patients, OB/GYN, pediatrics, Neuro, Ortho, and General.
  • CV cases will be run by dedicated CV fellowship-trained physicians.
  • Our daily work culture reflects a sense of camaraderie, much like collaborating with friends in a professional and collegiate environment.
  • This position will offer a unique schedule rotation of working 24-hour shifts. One 24 every third day with the fourth week off, or 7 shifts in a 4-week period. Covering main OR and back up to OB.
  • The trauma physician position will offer a unique schedule rotation of working 24-hour shifts. One 24 every third day with the fourth week off. This will be an average of 56 hours per week annually.
  • Compensation is guaranteed at an annual rate of $560,000. We can also offer 1099 compensation packages if necessary.
  • Strong commencement bonus offered.
  • We offer a generous 13 weeks of scheduled time off.
  • NO NON-COMPETE CLAUSE IN OUR AGREEMENT
  • Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability coverage, a 401k plan with matching contributions, paid medical malpractice insurance, tail coverage, and an annual CME allowance.
  • We maintain a high retention rate because we work collaboratively within our team and ensure coverage for time off.
