Locums – Bronx, New York, Anesthesiologist Job

  • Full-time providers only
  • Average day on shorter days is 8-10 hours while longer days can run from 12-15 hours
  • 1x 24hr in house call every 6 nights for trauma, general and back up on OB (CRNAs do epidurals, MDs do c sections)
  • 1 back up pager call per week (infrequent call back)
  • There is not necessarily shift work here as they days depend on OR flow
  • Case mix includes general, level 1 trauma, ENT, breast, ortho, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, urology, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN, bariatrics, thoracic, gastro, colorectal, endo, dental
  • 5,100 cases per year
  • 8 ORs, 2 Endo, 4 LDR, 2 LD OR, 1 NORA per day
  • 400+ beds
  • Level 1 Trauma
