Practice Setting: Anesthesia coverage for the hospital

Schedule (Shifts/Hours):

6:45a-3:15p (with .5 lunch 8hr total) and 6:45a-5:15p (with .5 lunch 10hr total)

Call Preferred - 6 call shifts/month - Weekend call is Fri (3p or 7p) to Mon (7a). Mon-Thur call is 7a-7a.

Call at OMH is Beeper call. If it is a weekday the provider on call will be covering a room during the day. M-F The ORs ope. from 7am - 5 pm with the first cases starting at 0730. They run 2 rooms til 5 pm and 3 rooms until 3 pm during the week. There is only one call team available after 5 pm on the weekdays, holidays and weekends.

Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: TBD, call coverage only
Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma Level 4
Annual ER Volume: Approximately 19,000 annually
Description of OR Staff: Traditional tech, RN
Number of Operating Rooms: 5 OR's 2 procedure rooms
Will you Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License?: Yes
Certification Requirement (BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.): BLS and ACLS
Training or Experience Required (Will You Accept New Grads?): No, we prefer experienced providers capable of servicing level 4 trauma facility with heavy general surgery and GYN, labor & delivery
Patient Age Demographic (Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric): Primarily Adult, pediatrics are transferred out
Procedures Required: General Surgical Cases ADULT, Minor Nerve Blocks, IV Regional anesthesia
Procedures Required (cont.): Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Obstetrical Cases
